I want to take a moment to say thank you to both of my photographer friends, Tony Hjaltalin and Scott Butner for their photographic contributions to my website. I have known both of these amazing photographers for many years and have had the pleasure of making some really great art together. Both have visited me in my shops over the course of my many years of apprenticing, knifemaking, and doing restoration work. I am eternally grateful to both of them for having captured my work in progress.
It has been such a pleasure working with these two talented friends and photographers. I look forward to creating more art together in the future!

Tony Hjaltalin and I have been friends since highschool and I am so grateful for our life long friendship. Through his business Hjaltalin Imagery, he takes incredible photos for his clients capturing people, pets, nature, and events. Tony visited me last year in my home shop and working together, he truly captured the heart of my hard work as a bladesmith.
Here is Tony’s website, his passion “is to capture life in stunning, storytelling images.”
Some of Tony’s photos include the second and third images in my front page slider, the first image in my Services page slider, and the bottom photo of my About page.

I’ve known Scott for many moons and over the years we’ve made incredible artwork together. From studio work, to fire spinning at our local burns, to chasing the sunset in Eastern Washington. Together we created some of the most beautiful and magical photos that are still my favorite images to date. Scott has an amazing eye and gift for capturing people in their element and documenting this beautiful Earth and all her landscapes and creatures.
His work includes incredible nature photography, people, animals and he captures a wide variety of events and people doing what they love most. Scott can be found on Facebook here!
Some of Scott’s photos include the first image in my front page slider, my header and footer images as well as the slide show on my Services page:
